Bobby Freeman
Bobby E.
Freeman Sr., was born in Henry County,
attended Henry School, and
the University of Tennessee. He is a
Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M)
and Certified Public Administrator (CPA)
from the University of TN Institute
of of Public Services. He was first elected
as County Commissioner in May
1975 serving until he moved to the family
farm and was elected as Chairman
of the Highway Commission and served until
he was reelected as County
Commissioner from 2nd District (Henry,
Mansfield, and Oakland)
He married Shelby Murray on September 1,
1956 and they are the parents of
Pamela D. Rockwell, and Bobby (Rob) Freeman
Jr. and have three grandchildren,
Amelia Kate Martin, Madeline Lee Martin, and
Bobby (Tripp) Freeman III, all
of Henry County.
He and his family are the owners and
operators of Sally Lane's Candy Farm
located at 2215 Gum Springs Rd.
