Contests Local
School Recycle Contest – recycling bins are placed at
the various schools. Students will be encouraged to bring
recyclable materials ( aluminum and #1 and #2 Plastics) for school prize in this
intra-county/city school competition.
Grand Prize to the school
that collects the most aluminum and #1 and #2 Plastics-
Bragging Rights plus $100 Gift Card to use as
needed! NOTE: ( Collection numbers will be based on
number of pounds collected per student enrollment to make
it fair for smaller schools to compete with larger
schools.)
Each School participating
will receive three 65 gallon wheeled totes to use for
recycling collection in their schools!
Each school participating
will receive a check for the proceeds of the sale of
aluminum cans collected in their school to use toward
recycling promotion/collection in the school!
Educational/Promotional
Video Contest about green ideas. Winner will be shown
online. Visit MyParisMagazine.Com
for prizes and information to enter!
Recycled Materials Art
Contest – prizes given to those who create winning art
from recycled materials. All winners will receive a Official
GreenFest 2010 Tee Shirt!

Adult Category
Prizes-
1st Place $30 gift card
2nd Place $20 gift card
School Category Prizes-
Each School will choose a 1st and 2nd place winners
and those works will be on display
the day of the event. School
Winners will receive prizes from the school and an
Official Greenfest 2010 Tee Shirt! See your school
principal on how to enter!
Grade Categories:
K-2, 2-5, 6-8,
9-12
First Place Winners in each Grade Categories will receive
a $30 gift card
Second Place Winners in each category will receive a $20
gift card.
Onsite Recycled Art
Construction Project - prizes given to those who create
winning art from cans of food plus recycled materials. These
pieces will be on display during the event. Food cans
will be given to our local Henry County Food Bank to
assist those in need! Other material will be
recycled!
