The Election
Administrator is appointed by the Election
Commission and is responsible for organizing
all matters related to local elections in
the County, including voter and candidate
registration, conducting the elections, and
tallying the vote.

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 is the beginning of the early voting period for the November 6 General/Municipal Election. Voters may cast their ballots beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Henry County Election Commission office in the courthouse annex, 213 W. Washington St. Voting will continue through November 1 from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (M,T,W,F) Thursday the Henry County Election Commission will be open from 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. There also will be two Saturdays during the voting period when early ballots may be cast — October 20 and October 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m.
