We have
just added a new 32 inmate pod for housing
more inmates. This was accomplished by the
county being their own contractor and using
inmate labor. We offer in house
continuing education, in house ministry, and
we are certified to give the state GED
Program.
All meals
are prepared in house by our own dietician
and certain inmate. We have a 7 acre
tract of land donated to us by a citizen.
We use inmate labor to plant and harvest
vegetables which we in turn feed all the
inmates.

Skip Hale is the Kitchen Manager along with
running the inmate work farm.
We no
longer have to transport any inmates for
arraignments because we have put in a new
Video Arraignment System at the Correctional
Facility. We have also contracted a
Medical NP which we have in house 3 days a
week that takes care of all medical needs of
inmates. We also have a state of art
medical clinic in house which almost
completely eliminates having to transport
inmates to a clinic or hospital. |
