The department also has NCIC computer equipment as well as an in-house
computer system that provides in-house data management and tracking
abilities. They have recently moved into a 30,600 square foot building
that had been a former industrial facility. It has been retrofitted to
the sheriff’s office and correctional facility. The facility has an
average of 175 prisoners. The county has two drug dogs and a joint
metro-crime unit with the Paris Police Department. The county also
maintains a full-time school resource officer assigned to Henry County
High School and is currently forming a metro SRT Team.
