Operational Hours:  7AM to 3:30PM M-F

Henry County Recycling Center offers pick up services to business and industrial customers free of charge. Occasional residential pickup can be arranged if there are enough recyclables. Henry County is pleased to offer this service for the community!

Items That Can be Recycled at Henry County Recycle Center:

Accepted

Metals:
  • Aluminum

  • Tin/Steel Cans (rinsed and clean)

  • Vegetable Cans (rinsed and clean)

  • Dog/Cat Food Cans (rinsed and clean)

  • Aerosol Spray Cans (Empty / No Lids)

  • Scrap Metal

  • “Dead” Appliances

Paper:

  • Books

  • Printer Paper

  • Newspaper

  • White Packing Paper

  • Telephone Books

  • Magazines

  • Catalogs

  • Junk Mail

Batteries:

  • Auto, Lawn, Nickel-Cadmium

E-Waste:

  • Televisions

  • Computer Equipment

  • Microwaves

  • Stereo Equipment

  • Other electronic equipment

Plastics:
  • A raised number (1 through 7) in a triangle on the bottom of most plastic containers tells you what type of plastic it is and if it can be recycled.

Henry County Accepts:

  • Number 1 PET

  • Number 2 HDPE

  • Drink Bottles

Cardboard:

  • Corrugated Cardboard

  • Brown Packing Paper

  • Brown Grocery Bags

  • Cereal Boxes (Remove Liner)

  • Other Chip Board Boxes

Automotive Fluids:

  • Used motor oil and antifreeze is accepted at center.

Pallets

Not Accepted

  • Household trash
  • Freezer Boxes
  • Soiled Cardboard Boxes
  • Glass
  • Fluorescent Bulbs
  • Paint (open latex and allow to dry and then dispose with household trash.)

Household Hazardous Waste Information

*Henry County Hosts an annual one day event in May for collection of household hazardous waste from residents.
